Who is chef Jamie Holme, MasterChef: The Professionals 2021 semi-finalist?

Introducing Jamie Holme, one of 32 chefs taking part in MasterChef: The Professionals 2021, airing on BBC One every Monday, Thursday and Friday from November 8th through to December 24th.

Jamie impressed judges Marcus Wareing, Monica Galetti and Gregg Wallace in both his skills test and with his signature dishes, allowing him to progress to the quarter-finals.

There, Jamie presented two dishes to three food critics William

Sitwell, Grace Dent and Tom Parker-Bowles, and, in an exceptional turn an events, became one of three chefs - alongside Charith Mallawa and Aaron Middleton - to secure a spot in the semi-finals.

Trained in Michelin-starred kitchens, Jamie is now the culinary director at private and corporate caterer, Alison Price & Company, and the head chef for event caterer Bubble Food in Camberwell, London.

Small Contribution. Big Impact.

The Staff Canteen has always been more than a website—it’s a community, built by and for hospitality. We share the wins, the challenges, the graft, and the inspiration that keeps kitchens alive.

We believe in staying open to everyone, but creating this content takes real resources. If you’ve ever found value here—whether it’s a recipe, an interview, or a laugh when you needed it most—consider giving just £3 to keep it going.

A little from you keeps this space free for all. Let’s keep lifting the industry, together.
