About Vincent

Vincent Crepel embarked on his culinary journey in France, honing his skills in esteemed international establishments such as the illustrious three-Michelin-starred Arzak in San Sebastián, Spain, the acclaimed Restaurant André in Singapore, and the historic Restaurant de l'Hôtel de Ville in Crissier, Switzerland.

His culinary philosophy revolves around the essence and flavors of exceptional ingredients, elevated to their utmost purity.

methods in crafting their biodynamic and organic wines.

A defining four years at Terre

His leadership saw Terre establish itself among Ireland’s most ambitious kitchens, part of a growing wave of fine dining venues putting the country firmly on the Michelin map.

Ducasse as the final guest

That Vincent’s final service was cooked for Alain Ducasse was a moment charged with symbolism. Alain, widely regarded as one of the greatest chefs of all time, represents the pinnacle of French gastronomy. For Vincent, closing his chapter at Terre with such a guest underscored both the restaurant’s standing and his own culinary journey.

Shaping Irish gastronomy

Terre’s rise coincided with a surge in Ireland’s international dining profile. With restaurants such as Chapter One, Liath and Aniar driving culinary innovation, Terre played its part in showing how Ireland could deliver technical excellence with a sense of place.

The kitchen’s modern tasting menus championed Irish produce, while drawing on Vincent’s French background, making it a bridge between two culinary cultures.

The chef has not yet revealed where his next chapter will take him.
