Chefs Football tournament for Farm Africa

The Staff Canteen
Returning for a third year, Farm Africa’s Chefs Football Tournament series is set to be more exciting than ever before. Untitled-2This year Farm Africa will be hosting two tournaments in both London (Sunday, May 10) and Birmingham (Sunday, July 5). The 2015 teams are already training hard and there is set to be tough competition between participants as restaurants such as the Duck and Waffle, Lockhart, Restaurant Story and Sager + Wilde go head-to-head to win the highly coveted trophy. Speaking ahead of the games Paul Foster, head chef of The Dining Room at Mallory Court said “The tournaments are a fantastic way for the restaurant industry
to come together and show their collective support for helping to end hunger. I’m lucky enough to have visited Farm Africa’s projects in Kenya and know what a huge impact their work has for communities who have very little food to feed their family. The tournaments are a simple way to raise extra funds whilst having a great day out - I urge all restaurants to join us.” There are a limited number of spaces available in each tournament and it's open to restaurants, suppliers, cookery schools and colleges. Small Contribution. Big Impact.

The Staff Canteen has always been more than a website—it’s a community, built by and for hospitality. We share the wins, the challenges, the graft, and the inspiration that keeps kitchens alive.

We believe in staying open to everyone, but creating this content takes real resources. If you’ve ever found value here—whether it’s a recipe, an interview, or a laugh when you needed it most—consider giving just £3 to keep it going.

A little from you keeps this space free for all. Let’s keep lifting the industry, together.
