There is just one week to go to register your interest in entering the annual Footprint Awards which celebrate the sustainability of businesses. This is the UK’s leading award scheme acknowledge the achievements of businesses operating throughout the entire food supply chain. Footprint Awards represents the annual celebration of the work that organisations in the Foodservice industry are doing to in some way redress the balance for the benefit of themselves, their community and the industry at large. It is a celebration of initiative and innovation, of commercial imagination and endeavour. Following unprecedented levels of entry applications in 2013, Footprint urges every business who has something to shout about to enter this time around. The Special Achievement and Community Vote are open to those businesses and individuals who have gone that extra mile and deserve the recognition. Entries close at midnight on Friday 21 March and to enter simply follow this link to get to the Footprint website where you can find category information and online entry forms. A shortlist will be published on 22 April with the Footprint Awards Dinner scheduled for a month later on 22 May 2014 at East Wintergarden, Canary Wharf. To book tickets for that event click here.
