Gareth Bartram named managing director at Winteringham Fields
The former head chef at Michelin-starred Winteringham Fields Gareth Bartram has been named managing director of the business
In his new role, Gareth will continue to work closely with the kitchen team, but will liaise more closely with other departments.
Gareth joined Colin McGurran's Scunthorpe restaurant in 2014, and was named head chef in 2018. He was at the helm when the restaurant won a Michelin star, and has retained its 4 AA Rosettes, as well as ranking 11th in the Harden's top
The chef said he was "super happy" with the new role, adding: "Thank you to everyone for their kind words of support. Means the world."
Announcing the news, the restaurant said: "We think you’ll all agree when we say, the future of WF is in good hands. Congratulations Gareth."
