Glynn Purnell, who holds a star in the Michelin Guide UK, will headline The Staff Canteen Live 2017 at the Great Hospitality Show

Glynn Purnell is set to showcase dishes from Michelin-starred Purnell’s as he headlines The Staff Canteen Live 2017 at the Great Hospitality Show 2017 with his pastry chef and sous, Luke Butcher.

The pair will take to the stage and demonstrate live how they create dishes for the menu at the Birmingham based restaurant.

Glynn said: “Purnells has always been a passionate about the city of Birmingham and we have been at the heart of the food scene for a number of years so, the opportunity to showcase what Purnell’s as a restaurant offers at the Great Hospitality Show, Birmingham, on The Staff Canteen Live stage is something Luke and I are really looking forward to.”

The Great Hospitality Show is a celebration of everything new in British hospitality, and the only show focusing on the business of hospitality will be the UK’s largest exhibition for foodservice and hospitality in 2017. It takes place on January 23-25 2017 and you can register from tomorrow.

The Staff Canteen Live, held in conjunction with speciality produce supplier, Westlands and Chef Works, Callebaut, Gram and Wild Atlantic Prawns, will be running regular sessions every day of the three-day show with a changing line-up of chefs providing visitors with interactive demonstrations, recipe guidance and cooking tips.

The chefs will be regularly making their way into the audience, so not only can you see cooking at its finest, you can taste it too!

Visitors to the show will be able to get up close to some of the biggest names in the UK’s culinary industry and as well as those mentioned we have many more chefs to announce!

Great Hospitality Show is a must attend event for finding the latest, cutting edge products across food and drink, catering equipment, technology, interiors and table tops.
