Line up revealed for NSPCC Great Cumbrian Chefs’ Dinner

The Staff Canteen

Some of the North’s finest culinary talent will come together in autumn for the inaugural Great Cumbrian Chefs’ Dinner.

The one-night-only dining event raises funds for Childline.

Taking place on September 20th at Lowick Hall near Ulverston, 250 guests will enjoy a four-course meal crafted by four acclaimed Michelin-starred chefs.

The exclusive evening is already sold out and promises an exceptional dining experience. Each course will be paired with fine wines, while the night will be hosted by broadcaster Darren Proctor.

A luxury live auction, led by John Townsend, will offer prizes such as dining experiences and weekend getaways - all in support of Childline’s life-saving work.

The Chefs

  • Paul Heathcote MBE – Multi-award-winning Chef and Owner of Heathcote & Co

  • Ryan Blackburn – Chef-Owner of Michelin-starred The Old Stamp House and Bib Gourmand-awarded The Schelly/

Supporting a Vital Cause

All proceeds will go directly to Childline, a free and confidential service offering 24/7 support to children in need.

Ryan Blackburn said: “Being able to support Childline and help raise funds so they can continue their incredible work is a fantastic thing to be part of,”.

NSPCC’s former Trustee John Worth added: “We are thrilled to host this event. The generosity of the chefs and supporters will have a real impact in helping protect children and prevent abuse.”
