Martin Chiffers and 77 Diamonds have created ‘The World’s Most Extravagant Chocolate Easter Bunny’, worth £33,000. The chocolate bunny is available from luxury goods launching website VeryFirstTo.com and award winning chocolatier and international pastry consultant Martin who hand carved the rabbit. bunny 2The eyes are made of two solitaire diamonds nestled into the chocolate, provided by 77 Diamonds, who possess the largest selection of diamonds in the world. This Easter gift is a one of a kind and the diamonds have a combined value of over £25,000. The life-size bunny measures approximately 38cm high and Martin has carved it out of a solid piece of 75% Tanzania Origin chocolate. The Easter rabbit weighs approximately five kilograms, which is 548,000 calories in total. Don’t worry though: if you can’t manage it in one go, the bunny can be displayed for up to two years at the correct temperature. Martin Chiffers said: “I’m delighted to be working with 77 Diamonds on such a glamorous item which is certainly a culinary phenomenon. Whilst I am very accustomed to teaching about and creating extravagant luxury chocolate pieces, incorporating diamonds is a first!”bunny 4 The carving took two days to create and the detailing includes three solid chocolate eggs at the foot of the bunny, decorated in gold leaf. Tobias Kormind, Managing Director of 77 Diamonds, said: “We are delighted to match exceptional diamonds to this decadent creation. We are also happy to create a bespoke piece of jewellery featuring the solitaires free of charge, once the bunny has been devoured.” The Bunny is also available to purchase with different coloured diamonds and gems, or with lower cost gems. £1,000 will be donated to the Prince’s Trust charity if the bunny is purchased and in order for the rabbit to be delivered in time for Easter Sunday orders must be placed by the 28th March for UK customers.
