Matteo Sargentelli promoted to head pastry chef at The Landmark

Matteo Sargentelli has been announced as the new head pastry chef at The Landmark hotel in London.

He has been a significant part of the restaurants culinary team since 2018 and comes with over a decade worth of knowledge in London’s most prestigious kitchens, including Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester.

Matteo’s journey at The Landmark has seen him work his way from junior pastry sous chef to his most recent role as deputy head pastry chef.

In his new posititon, Matteo will lead the pastry team in curating an exquisite selection of desserts, pastries and confectionary for the hotel’s celebrated dining venues, including the

award-winning afternoon tea at The Winter Garden Restaurant.

Matteo will oversee dessert menus for private functions and events, room service, and breakfast.

He said: “It is an incredible honour to take on the role of head pastry chef at The Landmark, London.

“This five-star hotel has been my home for several years and I am excited to build on its rich heritage and tradition while introducing new, creative and innovative flavours and techniques for our guests to enjoy.”

Matteo's new promotion will see The Landmark maintain its stellar reputation for offering world-class desserts.
