Michael Caines’ Gidleigh Park retains its two Michelin stars

Having been awarded the two stars in 1999 Michael Caines MBE and his team at Gidleigh Park are delighted to have retained their two Michelin stars following the release of the Michelin Guide today. Executive Chef Michael Caines MBE celebrates 20 years at Gidleigh Park this year and today’s announcement marks sixteen continuous years for the hotel to hold the award. Michael Caines commented: “The Michelin guide is arguably the most revered restaurant guide amongst chefs, restaurant critics and guests alike and we’re honoured to retain our stars for the sixteenth year running. “Our team here at Gidleigh Park is amongst the best in the country and has worked so hard to deliver consistently excellent and exciting menus.
