Michelin-starred restaurant Pensons to close
Michelin-starred restaurant Pensons will close at the end of this year after five years, due to persistent and interest rate pressures.
Taking to social media, the team at Pensons said “We are incredibly proud of everything we have achieved over the last five years, from the quality of the food and service to the collaborations with local producers and artisans.
Ultimately
though, persistent inflation and interest rate pressures mean that as a small, independent, very rural business, it is no longer financially viable to stay open.”
The restaurant will close it’s doors on Friday, the 22nd of December 2023.
Pensons, under the leadership of head chef Chris Simpson, also hold a Green Michelin star for its Sustainable Gastronomy.
