Grantley Hall has announced plans to expand its award-winning hospitality offering with the addition of a country pub located nearby.

Located on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, Grantley Hall is a five-star hotel and wellness retreat.

It is renowned for its blend of historic elegance and contemporary luxury, offering high-class accommodation, fine dining, and state-of-the-art wellness facilities.

The estate is a Grade II* listed Georgian mansion set within picturesque landscaped grounds, including gardens, a river, and woodlands.

Now, the award-winning hotel has unveiled a new eatery in a cosy village.

A post on social media read: “We are excited to share that this summer, we will be opening our very own local country pub – a relaxed yet refined dining and drinking destination in the heart of Grantley village.

“Designed with warmth and familiarity in mind, guests can look forward to hearty, seasonal Yorkshire dishes made from local produce, served in a beautifully renovated, classic country setting just a short walk from Grantley Hall.

“We cannot wait to welcome you, your children and your furry friends to experience our friendly Yorkshire hospitality and celebration of regional flavours at Grantley Arms. Keep your eyes peeled on our Grantley Arms channel for further updates.”

Grantley Hall is also home to a host of restaurants including:

  • Shaun Rankin at Grantley Hall - a Michelin-starred restaurant led by chef Shaun Rankin, offering seasonal tasting menus that champion Yorkshire produce. The cuisine blends classical technique with modern British creativity.
  • Fletchers Restaurant, a more relaxed yet refined dining option serving British and European dishes.
  • EightyEight – A bold, contemporary Asian-fusion restaurant with dramatic design and a vibrant atmosphere.
  • The Orchard – An alfresco dining concept ideal for relaxed meals in summer.
  • Valeria’s Champagne & Cocktail Bar

EightyEight also recently announced that Andrew Lynam was joining the team as its new head chef following Samira Effa’s departure.

A post on social media read: “Introducing our new head chef, Andy Lynam.

“Andy’s culinary journey has taken him through some of the UK’s most respected kitchens, including The Devonshire Arms, The Box Tree and The Wild Rabbit. Originally from Ilkley, Andy discovered his passion for food during family holidays to France, where he fell in love with the country’s deep-rooted appreciation for fine cuisine.

“With a passion for bold flavours and exceptional ingredients, he is committed to delivering an unforgettable dining experience. Please join us in congratulating Andy on his new role.”
