Award-winning London restaurant and charity OMNOM is set to open a second location in Birmingham this November, bringing its blend of vegetarian and vegan dining, Bhakti-inspired wellbeing and mantra music to the Midlands.
Founded in Islington, OMNOM has become known for its uplifting Indian food, community events and commitment to giving back. The Birmingham site will be twice the size of the original, combining a 150-cover restaurant, bar, conservatory and private dining area to accommodate up to 200 guests.
As a registered charity, OMNOM operates on a simple principle: for every meal served, a child in need is fed in a poorer part of the world.

In London, OMNOM has hosted a wide range of cultural and creative events including live podcast recordings, comedy nights and book launches. The Birmingham location will build on that foundation, offering even more space for community and wellbeing-focused activities.
Celebrating Indian vegetarian cuisine
The menu, created in collaboration with Namaste Village, will celebrate the flavours and traditions of India through colourful, flavour-rich vegetarian and vegan dishes. Namaste Village currently operates six restaurants across the UK, including its recently opened Oxford site, and shares OMNOM’s focus on authenticity and joy in cooking.
A highlight of the Birmingham space will be a traditional low-seating area beside the bar, crafted from hand-carved timber and Indian textiles - an intimate corner for high chai or relaxed dining before or after
wellness sessions.
Rooted in service and connection
Behind OMNOM sits OmLife, the spiritual and community heart of the project. OmLife hosts Soulful Sundays, retreats and gatherings rooted in Bhakti Yoga - the yoga of devotion and service - encouraging guests to explore compassion and self-discovery.
Founder Yuvi Rana said: “OMNOM began in Islington as an idea to create a restaurant that feeds more than the body. We wanted to bring the timeless wisdom of Bhakti Yoga - the yoga of love and devotion - into a modern, accessible setting. Our new Birmingham home will allow us to expand that vision. With OMspace for wellbeing events, a restaurant dedicated to compassionate cuisine, and our ongoing commitment to feeding children in need, OMNOM Birmingham will be a celebration of food, wellbeing and community.”
Namaste Village founder Vijay Jetani added: “OMNOM and Namaste Village share deeply aligned values of kindness, compassion and seva - service to humanity. Our collaboration through Namaste at OMNOM blends conscious cuisine with mindful living. We’re proud to be part of this journey, bringing OMNOM’s inspiring message of wellness, community and plant-based living to Birmingham.”
A beacon for mindful dining
With space for dining, reflection, music and movement, OMNOM Birmingham aims to be a hub for the city’s conscious and creative community - a place to eat beautifully, live mindfully and serve joyfully.
