Peter Sanchez-Iglesias closes Bristol restaurant Casa until further notice

The Staff Canteen

Chef Peter Sanchez-Iglesias has closed his Bristol restaurant Casa until further notice.

Peter also owns Decimo in London, where he welcomed MasterChef contestants for a round of the BBC One show last year.

His third restaurant is Paco Tapas, in Bristol, which formerly held a Michelin star, until earlier this year.

Italian restaurant Casa featured in the Michelin Guide, but is not currently welcoming guests.

An ‘important notice’ on the restaurant’s website read: “At this moment,

we are closed for future bookings. If you’re looking to book a restaurant, please check out our sister restaurant, Paco Tapas.

“All vouchers for Casa will be honoured at Paco Tapas. If you have any concerns or queries, please contact us at [email protected]

“Thank you, and we look forward to seeing you soon!”

Casa opened on the former site of Michelin-starred Casamia in October 2022, which was also owned and run by Peter and his family.
