Ten celebrity chefs altogether will be on a number of Britannia’s cruises throughout the year where they will run cookery classes, host exclusive chef’s table dinners and participate in Q&A sessions and book signings.
The Cookery Club will have 12 stations for up to 24 people, and bookings open four months before departure. The appliances are being provided by KitchenAid, and Robert Welch has given the Cookery Club a range of knives.
P&O Cruises marketing director Christopher Edgington said: “With a stellar line-up of celebrity chefs and iconic professional kitchen appliances, Britannia is taking cookery classes at sea to the next level.
“Britannia will be quite unique in offering a dedicated cookery school that not only features a chef’s demonstration kitchen but also work stations for 24 guests all fully kitted out by KitchenAid. I’m sure that the opportunity to join these exclusive cooking experiences will appeal to a whole new group of people who have never before considered cruising as a holiday option.”
