MasterChef: The Professionals 2012 is open for applications and it’s an opportunity not to be missed by any aspiring chef.

With Ash Mair, Claire Lara, Steve Groves and Derek Johnstone, the 4 exceptional winners so far, MasterChef: The Professionals is launching its search for the next standout champion.

In what will be its fifth series, MasterChef: The Professionals has established itself as one of the principle professional competitions in the country. The new series will continue to push its contestants to prove they have the ability to cook at the highest levels.  

Judges Michel Roux Jnr, Gregg Wallace, and Monica Galetti, along with some of the greatest chefs in the country will be back to whittle down the hopeful chefs till only the very best remain.  

But the only way to stand

a chance of working in some of the most aspiring kitchens in the world is to enter the competition.

Applications are open now at www.masterchef.com for any professional chef who is focused and driven by their culinary ambition and believe they have what it takes to achieve world class excellence, this is the only competition to be part of.

 Entry Requirements include:

  • You must be aged 20 or above on May 1st 2012
  • You must be resident of the UK (inc Northern Ireland and Channel Islands)
  • You need to have worked for at least 2 years as a chef in a professional kitchen and/or have the necessary qualifications (please refer to full rules at www.masterchef.com)
  • The closing date for enteries is 9th April 2012
