Raby Hunt | The Sunday Times Top 100 Restaurants

Summerhouse restaurant Raby Hunt features in The Sunday Times Top 100 Restaurants supplement, which is published on Sunday 8 November. The list is compiled by The Sunday Times in association with Harden’s.

Raby Hunt, which is run by former professional golfer James Close, is the North East’s only representative in the list. After making its first appearance on the list last year, ranked in 26th position, this year Raby Hunt has broken into the top 20. Serving dishes such as Vallum Farm salad, the restaurant was praised by diners for its “clever and delicious” tasting menus, and its “ethos of showing off local ingredients to their best effect”.
