Sam Ashton-Booth joins Tom Aikens as head of R&D
Sam Ashton-Booth has been hired by Tom Aikens as his head of R&D to work on a variety of projects including development at Muse.
The chef owner of the Belgravia restaurant shared the news on social media, where he said Sam was "an exceptional talent" who "has worked in some great kitchens all across the UK."
Sam's
career has seen him work at Gidleigh Park with Michael Caines, Restaurant Story, Mark Jarvis' Farringdon restaurant, Anglo, and Stem in Mayfair.
Since leaving Stem, he has undertaken various projects including a pop-up at chef Robin Gill's Counter Culture in Clapham.
Muse opened in 2019 and was awarded a Michelin star in the 2021 Guide.
