The Staff Canteen and Chefs Etc Ltd are joining together in aid of Hospitality Action, the industry's charity. Both companies will be donating a total £500.00 to the charity. This donation will come from the money that both companies would normally spend on Christmas cards and postage.
Mark Morris director of both Chefs Etc Ltd and The Staff Canteen Ltd, said "It's a far better use of our funds, and I'm sure that the money donated will have a much more lasting effect than a card that adorns a desk for the two week festive period" Both companies will instead send electronic cards, which are, of course, less impacting on the environment.
