Caprice (Hong Kong) and Jade Dragon (Macau) both receive three Michelin stars in the Michelin Guide Hong Kong and Macau 2019.

Twelve new restaurants gained stars in the Michelin Guide Hong Kong Macau 2019, with two of the restaurants receiving the highest honours, three stars.

Gwendal Poullennec, the International Director of Michelin Guides, said of the 2019 list: “Hong Kong and Macau are very special cities within the gastronomic world. They attract many tourists and business people from around the world, and as a result these cities have been blessed with gastronomic influences that oscillate between traditional Cantonese and Macau cuisine, combined with international flavours.”

The newest iteration of the guide shows two new three star restaurants:

Caprice, run by Chef Guillaume Galliot, offers contemporary French cuisine showcasing luxurious ingredients in refined dishes.

Jade Dragon, which is based in Macau, receives its third Michelin star. Authentic Cantonese specialities are made from the highest quality ingredients to delight gourmets in gorgeous surroundings.

The 2019 guide is further supplemented by the addition of 4 new two star establishments, four based in Hong Kong and one in Macau.
