A new all-day pizza restaurant from the founders of amie wine studio is set to open in London’s Eccleston Yards in April 2026.
Weezie’s is the latest project from Abbie Roden and Will Sandbach, the duo behind amie, and will open next door to their existing wine studio. The new site is positioned as a relaxed neighbourhood restaurant, serving thin-crust pizzas alongside small plates, beers and cocktails, with a walk-in-led format.
From wine studio to neighbourhood hub
Since opening amie wine studio three years ago, Abbie and Will have focused on creating a space built around wine, conversation and accessibility. Weezie’s expands that offer, adding what they describe as a “proper meal” and a stronger beer-led element to the Eccleston Yards location.

The two venues will operate as a combined hub, encouraging guests to begin with a glass of wine at amie before moving next door for pizzas and small plates. Weezie’s will be walk-in only, except for groups of six or more, with takeaway pizzas also available.
Pizza-led menu with British produce
The menu at Weezie’s centres on thin-crust pizzas made using regeneratively farmed flour and British ingredients. Alongside pizzas, the kitchen will serve small plates and a selection of signature sauces, including a southern-style buttermilk ranch.
The restaurant is named after Abbie’s grandmother, Louise, known as ‘Weezie’, a reference that underpins both the name and some of the flavour influences on the menu.
Sumant Sinai has been appointed head chef, bringing experience from Circus Pizza at Panzer’s, as well as previous work at Share a Slice. His background in pizza-led kitchens has shaped a menu designed for informal, repeat visits rather than destination dining.
Drinks, design
and atmosphere
Drinks will mirror the relaxed positioning of the food. Guests can expect wines from amie and other producers by the glass, Guinness on draught, beers from Harbour Brewing in Cornwall, and a concise cocktail list. The cocktail offer includes classics such as negronis, spicy margaritas and an old fashioned made with Kentucky straight bourbon.
The space itself has been designed by Abbie in collaboration with Flora de Boinville. Much of the furniture has been sourced from UK markets, with a focus on vintage and reclaimed pieces, many from Vinterior.
Fabrics throughout the restaurant are from Fermoie, with COAT paints on the walls and Rupert Bevan wallpaper in the bathrooms. Custom tiles for the bathrooms have also been created by Flora de Boinville.
The layout balances a lively bar area at the front with more relaxed dining towards the back, with additional al fresco seating spilling into Eccleston Yards. Weezie’s will also be available for private hire and events from launch.
A personal project rooted in hospitality
Abbie and Will first met in New York, where the city’s pizza culture played a formative role in their early relationship. That influence, combined with their experience running amie, has shaped Weezie’s into what they see as a natural extension of their existing offer.
Speaking about the opening, the pair said: “We really love our brand home in Eccleston Yards, and we wanted to give our guests an option to stretch their nights at amie wine studio for longer. Some nights call for a glass of amie; some nights call for a Guinness. Most nights call for a slice. We wanted to create a space where you can have it all.”
Weezie’s is scheduled to open in April 2026.
