Your opportunity to represent Great Britain - Calling All Pastry Chefs for The Coupe du Monde

Following the recent success of the British pastry team at the Coupe du Monde de la Patisserie in Lyon, preparations are now in place for 2013. Our aim is to develop and promote the Pastry chef role within Great Britain and to showcase the skills and creativity of this role. We are now looking for the best Pastry Chefs in the country to represent the UK at the next Coupe du Monde in January 2013. To do so, the UK Team will have to qualify in Paris at the 'Open des Desserts', in March 2012. We would like to invite you to send us your application form before the 10th of June 2011 and include:

Your CV (all applicants must have a minimum of 5 years experience)
A few words on what motivates you to compete with the British team
Which discipline you would like to demonstrate your skills i.e. pulled sugar, artistic chocolate or ice carving. You must send at least x3 photographs demonstrating the best of your abilities.

each successful candidate to participate in the UK team selection, which takes place in September 2011 (date and venue to be confirmed). You will be asked to prepare and display your strongest skills on the day to a panel of Professional Pastry Chefs.
