Andrew Green, CEO, Craft Guild of Chefs, said: “One thing that the Covid-19 pandemic has highlighted for many in the industry is the importance of community. At the Craft Guild of Chefs, we’ve always had our network at the heart of everything we do, which includes our popular supper clubs to our training and awards schemes. Over the year’s we have been asked to create a home for all of these resources on an app and following several months of hard work, I’m delighted to announce that we’ve launched a beta version in the app stores and a special mention must go to Matt Owens our Vice Chairman in pulling it all together. Over the coming months we will be expanding on the app’s features to give members more of what they want and need and make it an invaluable resource in the hands of our chef membership.”

The app can be accessed by searching CGOC in the app store.

Small Contribution. Big Impact.

The Staff Canteen has always been more than a website—it’s a community, built by and for hospitality. We share the wins, the challenges, the graft, and the inspiration that keeps kitchens alive.

We believe in staying open to everyone, but creating this content takes real resources. If you’ve ever found value here—whether it’s a recipe, an interview, or a laugh when you needed it most—consider giving just £3 to keep it going.

A little from you keeps this space free for all. Let’s keep lifting the industry, together.
