L'oscar London hotel welcomes new head chef, Allan Pickett
Having worked and trained with some of the UK’s finest chefs including the Roux Brothers and the
Galvin Brothers, it is with great joy that L’oscar London welcomes Allan Pickett as their new Head
Chef for L’oscar Restaurant.
Allan brings with him a wealth of experience and has been involved in
many renowned kitchens such as the Standard hotel where he did the opening as Executive Head
Chef, to his role as Head Chef at Orrery Restaurant where he retained the Michelin Star as well as
having started his own offering, Picquet Restaurant.
His knowledge on British ingredients, paired
with his classical French training, is the perfect complement to L’oscar London’s decadent dining
and opulent style.
L’oscar Restaurant is situated in the extravagant L’oscar London hotel, the former headquarters of a
Baptist Church which has since undergone an elegant transformation under the famous French
designer and architect, Jacques Garcia.
Both the restaurant and hotel are filled with lavish interiors
showcasing deep purples and rich red hues throughout. The illuminated Onyx bar is just one of the
showstopping features in L’oscar Restaurant alongside mirrored ceilings, gilded panels and original
art to create the charm and sophistication.
