- 1 Vanilla Pod Split
- 225g Brown Sugar
- 3 Eggs
- 285g Pecan Halves

Pecan Pie
you need a sweet paste base first
i use
250g butter
500g Plain flour
100g Castor sugar
1 egg
Ingredients
Method
# Melt together the butter, syrup, sugar and vanilla
# Allow to cool for 10mins
# Add the beaten eggs
# Arrange 2/3 of the nuts on the bottom of the pie base
# Pour on the pie mix
# Bake for 40-50mins @ 180c
# Whilst warm arrange the remaining pecans on top
