Ok Bike fans this ones of the Descent of Alto del Desierto de las Palmas stage 5 Vuelta espana

This is my goPro highlights of the Descent of Alto del Desierto de las Palmas the first descent of the the 5th stage of the 2017 Vuelta España, the roads were silky smooth and it was very quiet for traffic, an excellent descent with speeds in the high 90KPH. Jim Reeves one of our two mechanics was out with us for the first couple of hours and can be seen towards the end of the video...

...in the stage proper -Alexey Lutsenko (Astana) enjoyed the first summit finish of La Vuelta 2017 to win his first Grand Tour stage, on Wednesday at Alcossebre. The Kazakh rider attacked from the gun and dominated his breakaway companions for a brilliant solo win ahead of Merhawi Kudus (Dimension Data). He succeeds to Alexandre Vinokourov, winner of three stages at La Vuelta in 2006. Among the GC contenders, Alberto Contador (Trek-Segafredo) was the first at the summit, just ahead of Chris Froome (Team Sky)

About me

‘The Best Food Comes From The Heart..'

I am a life long cook and a Former National Chef of the Year a title I won back in 2013.
I have a love of cycling wanting to be a Pro in my younger years, I rode 3 national championships but a life at the stove beckoned.

This is my Channel a snapshot of what I am all about, Family, Cycling and Food.
In 2015 I rode the Tour de France; one day before the pros and in 2017 all three Grand Tours- Giro d’italia, Le Tour de France & La Vuelta. Not just content with the physical challenge for Charity CureLeukaemia; I wrote a charity cook book that documented the journey called "Back in the Saddle" with recipes inspired by the geography and terroir of each region and stage.
