Tom Shepherd has been appointed head chef of Michelin starred restaurant Adam’s

Tom Shepherd, from the Development Kitchen pop-up which he runs with chef Adam Degg, joins Michelin-starred Adam's in Birmingham as head chef.

His previous experience includes two Michelin-starred Restaurant Sat Bains and the Latymer with Michael Wignall.

Tom told The Staff Canteen: "It's the perfect platform for me to take my career to the next level, I've worked in some of the best restaurant/kitchens in the country with some of the best chefs, Sat Bains and Michael Wignall being the most coveted.
"At 29, and being a Birmingham born lad I was looking for the right platform to strive further, Adam's being in my home town, with a stunning restaurant, amazing kitchen, very young, energetic and enthusiastic team, it is just perfect for me to push on from the get go."
Adam Stokes added: "We are really excited Tom is joining the restaurant and looking forward to progressing together, we feel Tom's food ethos and management style will really suit the restaurant."

Small Contribution. Big Impact.
