Bridor introduces new Praline and Hazelnut Swirl to drive sweet bakery sales

Leading bakery manufacturer Bridor has introduced a new gourmet pastry to its collection, the Praline and Hazelnut Swirl.

The indulgent Viennese puff pastry features a generous hazelnut and praline filling, enhanced by a topping of crushed hazelnuts for stand-out visual appeal on the counter.

Available in a convenient ready-to-bake format, the 100g pastry is perfect for coffee shops, cafés and hotels, providing customers with an elevated breakfast option alongside a hot drink or a delicious, sweet treat throughout the day.

The product was developed by Bridor’s team of bakery experts following research that found 78% of European consumers enjoy hazelnut praline filling in pastries1.

The Praline and Hazelnut Swirl is a Bridor ‘SelectBlend’ product, meaning it uses a fat blend made with RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) segregated certified palm oil.

Erwan Inizan, Northern Europe Sales Director at Bridor, said: “We know that 40% of consumers are interested in trying out original pastry flavours2 and our new Praline and Hazelnut Swirl gives operators an irresistible new option to offer to their customers. The bake strikes an ideal balance between crispy puff pastry and melt-in-the-mouth praline to tempt every palate, while a topping of crushed hazelnuts adds an eye-catching crunch. Tempting, high-quality Viennese pastries are a strong way of increasing sales for coffee shops and cafés and we’re confident this new addition to our portfolio will resonate with consumers looking for an enticing, sweet moment during their day.”
