Lockhart Catering Equipment is proud to be sponsoring this year’s Springboard FutureChef Programme, which encourages young people to pursue a career in hospitality and the culinary sector.
As the largest school-based culinary programme in the UK, Springboard FutureChef aims to support students in developing life skills, building confidence, and establishing industry connections.
Part of the programme is a four-stage competition with the National Final taking place in March 2025, which will see finalists from across the UK battling it out for the top spot.
Gold Level partner, Lockhart Catering Equipment, will be supplying Crème Monet tableware for the finalists to plate up their entries, supporting the presentation aspect of the judging.
Simon Britten, Head of Marketing at Lockhart Catering Equipment, explains why focusing on youth competitions is a priority for Lockhart:

As well as the presentation plates, Lockhart Catering Equipment will also be supplying the coveted decorative winners’ plate to present to the champion, which they can use to proudly start their trophy collection.

Following the competition, Lockhart Catering Equipment will also be awarding the winning school £500 in catering equipment vouchers to celebrate their success.
