The Evolution of French Classics Le Gavroches Culinary Journey

With the closure of this 2-Michelin star London Mayfair restaurant announced for January 2024, we look back and celebrate what is a true icon of gastronomy, Le Gavroche. 


First opened in 1967 by brothers Albert and Michel Roux, it was the first ever restaurant in the UK to be awarded three Michelin stars. 

Since then, the restaurant has become one of the most famous in the world but remained true to it’s of classical French cuisine!
