Chef Career Advice

Based on his extensive experience working within Hospitality Industry, Restaurant Manager, Peter Klimczak offers his advice to aspiring Chefs in an attempt to help them on their journey up the career ladder:

Our advice to young people is as soon as they leave college is to get to the right place that will offer them something in the future.

The best career advice I have is to go and work with the best people in the industry. If someone applies for a position at Laytmer the most important thing for me is personality and the knowledge, you can get it here, you can learn everything in here but you need to have the right attitude and personality and you can get anywhere.

Young people could expect Laytmer to give lots of experience and let young people learn new things about the service and how to deal with guests. Development is the key here Well, first of all I would suggest making sure this is the right place for you, if so, then work hard and pretty much dedicate yourself to it especially at the beginning of the career the harder you work at the beginning the easier it gets in the future so.
