The Staff Canteen

How to make Farfalle fresh egg pasta by chef Luke Holder. Using his basic pasta dough, Luke shows us how to then create Farfalle (bow tie) shaped pasta. Luke shows us the correct cutter and thickness to roll and cut the pasta and then how to cut it into the correct shape.

Today we are going to be teaching you how

to make Farfalle pasta or as it's more commonly known, bow tie pasta. For this you need a 75 cutter and rolled pasta sheets, rolled to a thickness of number three.

The technique is simple, use your index finger and bring the pasta together and pinch in the middle.
