Gordon Ramsay to open 100th restaurant later this year
Gordon Ramsay is set to open his 100th restaurant later this year, marking a major global milestone with the launch of Bread Street Kitchen & Bar at 22 Bishopsgate.
Reservations are now open ahead of the official opening on Wednesday, May 6, with the City site forming part of Gordon’s most ambitious London project to date – five distinct restaurant concepts under one roof at the capital’s tallest office building.
The Gordon Ramsay Restaurants group confirmed the 22 Bishopsgate opening represents its 100th restaurant globally, a landmark moment for a brand that began with Restaurant Gordon Ramsay in Chelsea in 1998 and has since grown into one of the most recognisable chef-led hospitality businesses in the world.
Five brands under one roof at 22 Bishopsgate
The 22 Bishopsgate development brings together five Gordon Ramsay concepts in a single location high above the City skyline.
Bread Street Kitchen & Bar will anchor the offering, alongside additional Ramsay brands designed to serve the building’s corporate community as well as destination diners.
The launch coincides with the release of Gordon’s new Netflix documentary, Being Gordon Ramsay, which captures the development of the Bishopsgate project and charts what the group has described as its most ambitious opening to date.
Set within one of London’s most prominent commercial addresses, the project reflects the continued evolution of Gordon’s portfolio – moving beyond fine dining flagships into high-volume, premium casual formats positioned in key global cities.
From three Michelin stars to continued London momentum
Gordon holds three Michelin stars at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay in Chelsea, one of the UK’s longest-standing three-star restaurants.
Over the past two decades, the group has expanded across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and North America, with a portfolio spanning fine dining, brasseries, airport sites and international hotel partnerships.
This year also saw Restaurant Gordon Ramsay High awarded a Michelin star, further strengthening the group’s presence in London’s fine dining landscape.
Under head chef James Goodyear, the restaurant has quickly established its own identity within the portfolio.

Bread Street Kitchen has become one of the group’s most scalable formats, with sites in London, Dubai and Singapore. The Bishopsgate launch strengthens Gordon’s footprint in the heart of the financial district.
Reaching 100 restaurants underlines the commercial scale Gordon has achieved, positioning the business among the largest chef-driven hospitality groups globally.
Strategic move in the City
The City has seen renewed hospitality investment following strong post-pandemic office return rates and rising tourism figures. The 22 Bishopsgate site, home to thousands of daily workers, offers significant volume potential across lunch, corporate dining and event-led occasions.
Industry observers suggest milestone openings of this scale signal continued confidence in premium casual dining within London’s commercial core, despite ongoing cost pressures across the sector.
For Gordon, the Bishopsgate opening is both symbolic and strategic – celebrating global growth while reinforcing his London presence at both fine dining and premium casual levels.
