This week's market report from Wild Harvest features girolles, stone fruits and Coco paimpol beans as well as a whole host of other fruit and vegetables currently in season which you can see below:

Wild Mushrooms & Truffles

The Scottish girolles landed this week in our warehouse. This stunning  first shipment brought a lovely fragrance in our mushroom corner and proved a success with chefs.

Continental girolles are now sourced   from   Russia and available in both mini  and  normal sizes .

Italian summer truffle still come in good quantities and at a very competitive  prices.

 

 

 

 

Fruits

Stones fruits are now coming from France :

  • Apricot
  • White peach
  • Yellow peach
  • Yellow flat nectarine 
  • Flat peach
  • Yellow nectarine
  • White nectarine

Mara des bois is

soon to replace the  gariguette strawberry.

Tomatoes are still in good supply  and will be a perfect match with burrata and extra virgin olive oil :

  • Oxheart
  • Pineapple
  • Zebra
  • Inca mix
  • Heirloom cherry  mix

Vegetables

Coco paimpol beans

Coco paimpol beans  alongside their  cousin Italian borlotti beans will make wonderful ingredient for your dishes.

Our current  foraging assortment consists of :

  • Wood sorrel
  • Pineapple weed
  • Sea aster
  • Sea purslane
  • Salty finger

Should you need to bring colour to a dish we suggest :

  • Purple and yellow cauliflowers
  • Baby carrots ( yellow, purple, orange )
  • Rainbow chard
  • Multicolour radishes
