Cubitt House to host two Summer feasts at Nevill Holt Festival

This summer, Cubitt House will join the celebrated Nevill Holt Festival with two special outdoor feasts curated by Chef Director Ben Tish.

The annual arts and culture festival in Leicester, which returns from May 30 to June 22, features talks from culinary stars such as Dame Prue Leith and Richard E. Grant, along with performances by the Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Orchestra.

Following the success of the festival’s 2024 debut, which drew over 12,000 guests to more than 60 events, Cubitt House will bring its signature London charm to the countryside.

Guests can expect two long lunches, each set with seasonal menus and Georgie Pearman’s signature table design, nestled in the rolling hills of Nevill Holt.

On May 31, Ben will serve a barbecue feast featuring ingredients sourced directly from Nevill Holt Farm. The menu will be inspired by Mediterranean flavours and fresh salads from his latest cookbook, Mediterra.

A week later, on June 7, Ben will be joined by Sam and Georgie to host a Provençal-style endless lunch. Guests will enjoy open-fire grilled meats and vegetables from the farm, served alongside award-winning rosé wines from Maison Mirabeau.

The feast will highlight Nevill Holt’s homegrown produce while reflecting Cubitt House’s British roots.

These events also mark the beginning of a new collaboration between Nevill Holt and Cubitt House. Starting this autumn, a seasonally changing menu will be introduced across Cubitt House’s London pubs, celebrating the partnership year-round.

Ben said: “We’re so excited to be partnering with Nevill Holt Festival - it feels like the perfect way to celebrate the long british summer days and the best of English produce” Sam and Georgie Pearman add, “we feel honoured to be bringing a taste of London to the festival and the beautiful Leicestershire countryside and can’t wait to continue this partnership with the farm, showcasing their produce in our London pubs.”
