Medical examiner: Chef Charlie Trotter died of a stroke

Celebrated chef Charlie Trotter died of a stroke earlier this month, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office. Test results after an autopsy determined that Trotter "died of a cerebrovascular accident (a stroke) as a consequence of hypertensive arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease (high blood pressure)," Cook County Medical Examiner Stephen Cina said in a statement. "Neither drugs nor alcohol contributed to his death," he said. "Additionally, there is no scientific evidence to indicate that recent travel contributed to his death, though there was evidence of a prior stroke.” Read more from Chicago Tribune  

Owners of award-winning café consider legal action after campaign of malicious TripAdvisor reviews

An award-winning cafe near Perth in Scotland is considering calling in solicitors after it was plagued
by at least 30 malicious reviews on TripAdvisor, all of which are thought to originate from the same person. Mike Haggerton, owner of the Habitat Cafe in Aberfeldy, which was the national winner of Best Small Espresso in the UK in Beverage Standards Awards 2013, first noticed the problem with the reviews a few months ago, and has already had several removed successfully. Man designs food themed tube map after discovering he can 'taste' his way around the London Underground

A man with a rare condition which leaves him experiencing conflicting senses claims he can ‘taste’ his way around the London Underground - and has designed a map to prove it.
