He added: “Thank you to all of those who have formed my teams over those 7 years. There is no greater cog in the machine than the other. I don't think I can tag you all, but do know that all of your work was appreciated.”

Thanking his team, suppliers and guests, Gareth said: "Thank you to Alan, Angela Harper and Michael Caines for seeing something in what I do 7 years ago and taking a chance. Your faith, support and guidance over that time has been invaluable. The suppliers, who gave us the paints to create the finished canvas, and to the guests who have visited in one form or another, thank you."

He added: "I wish all the team the very best for the future, I look forward to seeing how Palé moves forward. So, for one final time."
