The capital’s annual citywide celebration of eating out is back! The London Restaurant Festival (LRF) offers three weeks of fabulous dining events throughout London and this year Jason Atherton, Simon Rogan, Angela Hartnett, Theo Randall and Rankin, the world-famous photographer, are all involved. Simon Rogan LRF, in partnership with American Express, is comprised of two key attractions: events and festival menus. The main feature, the Laurent-Perrier Gourmet Odyssey, offers a range of meticulously planned outings, giving guests the chance to dine in some of London’s most exclusive hotels and restaurants. On the Discover Hotels Odyssey guests will eat at the Northall, Plum & Spilt Milk and Holborn Dining Rooms. The Discover East London Odyssey includes Merchants Tavern, 8 Hoxton Sq and The Clove Club. Meanwhile, the Discover America Odyssey includes Avenue, The Lockhart and Cut. Each course of the Laurent-Perrier Gourmet Odyssey has been carefully paired with the range of Laurent-Perrier champagnes. For the 2014 Festival, Eat Film returns with characteristic grandeur. The LRF has invited Rankin to curate a three course dinner inspired by the 1988 Academy Award winner, Cinema Paradiso, in the emotive setting of the cinema and restaurant at BAFTA 195 Piccadilly. Guests will enjoy a Peroni Nastro Azzurro Piccola and delicious Parma Ham canapés. During the screening, Parmigiano Reggiano popcorn will be served and a three-course dinner with wine will be prepared by Anton Manganaro. Theo RandallNew for 2014 are the Chinatown and Carnaby tours.
