Richard Corrigan is planning a restaurant on former Nuala site in London

The restaurant, Daffodil Mulligan ( named after an Irish street singer's daughter, Biddy Mulligan, according to Hot Dinners) will open in September, 

Before the chef, most famous for his Mayfair restaurant, Corrigan's, as well as for his Bentley's seafood restaurants and his many TV appearances, bought the venue, Nuala was a modern Irish restaurant.

It was short lived, however, staying open for just a year; chef and co-founder Niall Davidson left after four months and his successor, Colin McSherry followed suit to run the kitchen at Gridiron in Mayfair.
