TSC Award 2024 Hospitality Hero: Ursula Boardman

Ursula Boardman is the Head of Centre at The CRUMBS Project in Bournemouth, a charity dedicated to providing vocational training and support for adults with disabilities, mental health issues, and learning challenges. In her role, Ursula oversees the development and implementation of training programs that equip trainees with essential skills in hospitality, catering, administration, and housekeeping, fostering greater independence

and employability.

Ursula's efforts have also been instrumental in securing multiple accolades for The CRUMBS Project. In April 2023, the organisation received two awards at the Springboard Awards for Excellence, recognising their achievements in 'Diversity, Equality and Inclusion' and 'Disability Confidence.' These honours reflect the positive impact of Ursula's leadership on both the trainees and the broader hospitality industry.
