Vivek Singh Hosts a Culinary Journey Aboard Belmond British Pullman in 2014

The Staff Canteen

Vivek Singh – executive chef of The Cinnamon Club, Cinnamon Kitchen and Cinnamon Soho – is to host an exclusive dinner on board the iconic Belmond British Pullman train on May 8th 2014.

Since launching The Cinnamon Club in 2001, Vivek has become one of the most respected Indian chefs in this country, crafting a signature marriage between Indian spicing and western techniques. For this exclusive one-off evening Vivek will craft a menu of authentic Indian dishes with a contemporary twist, drawing inspiration from traditional recipes and pairing spice with matching wines. Dining on board Belmond British Pullman, sister train to the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express is one of London’s most exclusive and luxurious dining experiences, with each dinner seating only 100 guests. With its original 1920s art deco carriages and exceptional personal service by authentic stewards in fine livery, the train evokes the golden age of travel; allowing guests the opportunity to engage with a period of time when travellers were elegantly dressed and had the time to slow down and enjoy the journey. Other award-winning chefs to host dinners in this series include Tom Kerridge, 12th July; Tom Sellers, 10th October; James Martin, 23rd October; and Anton Mosimann, 13th November. The Celebrity Chef Dinners are priced at £495 per person. To book call 0845 077 222 or visit www.luxurytrainjourneys.com
