When will the AA Restaurant Guide 2019 rosettes be announced?

The majority of the AA Restaurant Guide 2019 rosettes will be announced at the annual event which takes place on Monday 24th September 2018 at Grosvenor House, a JW Marriott Hotel, Park Lane, London. Over the course of the evening, the event recognises and rewards the excellence of hotels, restaurants and their respective teams across the length and breadth of the UK. The evening will commence with a Taittinger Champagne reception followed by gourmet dinner created by John Williams, Executive Chef at the Ritz and  current AA Chef of the Year.

Which restaurants have already been awarded rosettes for in the AA Restaurant Guide 2019?

Moor Hall Restaurant with Rooms in Ormskirk, Lancashire was awarded four AA Rosettes in the AA Restaurant Guide 2019, only four months after achieving their third Rosette in September 2017. They are the only restaurant to be awarded this accolade in January’s set of honours.

Jöro Restaurant, Sheffield, South Yorkshire

How do you get an AA Rosette?

In order to gain a coveted rosette in the AA Hotel, Restaurant and Pub Guides, restaurants need to show true skill and understanding when prepping food as well as using fresh ingredients in all of their dishes.

Which chefs have won the AA Chef of the Year Award?

John Williams, executive chef of The Ritz was named the new Chef of the Year 2017. John joins an all-star list of chefs who have been awarded the honorific title over the years including Tom KerridgeNathan Outlaw, Daniel Clifford and last year's Chef of the Year, Simon Rogan.
