Who is chef Keith Sadomba on MasterChef: The Professionals 2026?
With MasterChef: The Professionals 2026 now in full swing on BBC One, we find out more about Keith Sadomba, one of the chefs taking part in this year’s competition.
Keith is of Zimbabwean heritage and lives in Leicester with his son and daughter.

“I studied cooking at Leicester College and started out at Land Parks in Oakham.
“The most memorable place I worked was The Case and Champagne Bar in Leicester, and I recently worked at the fine dining restaurant Restaurant 263, which I was incredibly proud to open in Leicester and get awarded 2AA rosettes.
“Today I work at Lynn café and restaurant.”

Who and what inspired you to become a chef?
“My grandmother and mother, who are both great inspirations to me.”
How would you describe your cooking style and influences?
“Seasonal with influences from all over the world and using fresh, healthy and sustainable ingredients.”
Three ingredients you can’t live without
“Miso, Oranges, Limes.”
What do you eat when you get back from service?
“Anything as long as it’s healthy.”
Why did you want to take part in MasterChef: The Professionals?
“I was in a much stronger place mentally and professionally, and I felt ready to challenge myself at the highest level.
“MasterChef: The Professionals represents an incredible opportunity to test your skills and push your creativity and I was excited by the prospect of competing alongside some of the most talented chefs in the industry.”
Outside of cooking what are your passions?
“Boxing and the gym.”
