Carrot cake doughnuts, cream cheese icing and walnuts

Carrot cake doughnuts, cream cheese icing and walnuts recipe from B2 Bistro + Bar


  • 2 carrots (peeled, grated)
  • Tablespoon cinnamon
  • Teaspoon ginger (ground)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 6 cups ap. flour
  • 4 1/2 Tablespoons baking powder
  • 3 eggs
  • 6 ounces’ butter (melted)
  • 3 cups whole milk
  • Icing:
  • 700g Cream Cheese
  • 200g 10x sugar


Put the flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger, baking powder in a bowl and whisk to combine. Add the carrots, milk, eggs and mix together. Stir in the butter.
Scoop 2 ounces into a fryer set to 350F for 7 minutes.
For icing:
Blend together the 10x sugar and cream cheese in a robot coupe and finish with walnuts.
