Buttermilk Cake

CREAM BUTTER SUGAR AND VANILLA IN A MIXER UNTIL FLUFFY

Ingredients

  • 185G BUTTER
  • 1 1/2 CUPS CASTOR SUGAR
  • 4 EGGS
  • 3/4 BUTTERMILK
  • 1/3 CUP COCOA POWDER
  • 3/4 SELF RAISING FLOUR
  • 1/2 VANILLA BEAN

Method

- CREAM BUTTER SUGAR AND VANILLA IN A MIXER UNTIL FLUFFY
- ADD EGGS ONE BY ONE AT REGULAR INTERVALS.
-ADD BUTTERMILK TO THE ABOVE MIXTURE.
-FOLD SIEVED COCOA AND SELF RAISING FLOUR TO THE THE FINAL MIXTURE.
-BAKE AT 340 C.
SERVE:-
WARM THE CAKE FOR 10 SEC IN THE MICROWAVE AND SERVE IT WITH CHOCOLATE SAUCE AND ORANGE SORBET.
