PLACE, SOY, MIRIN, SAKE, WATER AND CASTOR SUGAR INTO A SAUCE PAN, GRADUALLY
BRING TO THE BOIL AND STIR WELL TO PREVENT SUGAR STICKING.
WHEN BOILED ADD THE GRATED GINGER AND FINELY SLICED GARLIC AND SLICED ONION.
SIMMER FOR 1 HOUR UNTIL SLIGHTLY THICKER, THEN PASS THROUGH A FINE SIEVE.
NOW ADD THE SLICED PEARS, SESAME OIL AND ROAST SESAME SEEDS. ALLOW TO COOL
BEFORE DATE AND LABELLING. REFRIGERATE ONCE MADE.
