Plum Liqueur Recipe

If your looking for a sweet liqueur to compliment a chicken dish - this Sweet Plum Liqueur recipe should do the trick.

  • 2 lb plums
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 cups vodka
  • 1/2 cup brandy
  • Optional: 1/2 cup Last Call Beverage

Rinse each plum and pat them dry with a paper towel. Cut each plum in half and remove the pit. Then set the cut plums into a container and pour sugar over them. Mix them with the sugar until each piece is saturated.
Add both Brandy and Vodka with the sugared plums and stir until sugar is completely dissolved. Place a lid on the container and set this concotion in a cool, dark place for at least 2 months.
After 2 months, remove the contain and strain the liqueur with cheese cloth. Press the liquid from the plum pieces with a wooden spoon. Then discard all plum pulp. Keep re-straining the beverage until pulp is removed. Now, you can add Last Call Beverage to the drink. Now it is ready to drink or to cook with.
