A Michelin-starred evening with Raymond Blanc OBE and his protégés in aid of Hospitality Action

The award-winning Raymond Blanc OBE, his Executive Head Chef Gary Jones and Chef Pâtissier Benoit Blin from the two Michelin-starred Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons are joining forces to create an unforgettable dining experience to raise funds for industry charity Hospitality Action this Christmas. Monsieur Blanc will also be joined in the kitchen by his protégés Robin Gill of award winning The Dairy and Aggi Sverrisson from the Michelin-starred Texture during this most seasonal of celebrations. This exclusive fundraising event will take place at Chino Latino within the Park Plaza London Riverbank and will be hosted by their Executive Group Chef Werner Seebach on Monday 26th November.

Best-selling author and star of numerous television programmes including the BBC’s ‘Kew on a Plate’ and ‘Kitchen Secrets’ Raymond Blanc OBE has nurtured some of the country’s most respected chefs and 34 of his protégées have gone on to win Michelin stars for themselves. Monsieur Blanc’s Executive Head Chef, Gary Jones has led the kitchen brigade at Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons since 1999 and his Chef Pâtissier Benoit Blin has twice been a judge on the BBC2 Bake Off Crème de la Crème programme and more recently Channel 4s Bake Off, The Professionals.

On the night the trio will be reunited with former colleagues Robin Gill and Aggi Sverrisson who have both achieved critical acclaim since departing Belmond Le Manoir; Robin as chef-restaurateur of three popular London restaurants including The Dairy, which reached number nine in The National Restaurant Awards and Aggi as Chef Patron of Texture Restaurant Group with his flagship venture, Texture Restaurant and Champagne Bar, retaining its Michelin star since 2010. Each of the chefs will be present on the night and will contribute to the spectacular four course meal under the watchful eye of Chino Latino’s Werner Seebach who will provide the canapés and petit fours.

Guests at this unique evening will also be able to participate in a Q&A session with Raymond Blanc OBE and will have the opportunity to bid on exclusive auction prizes. The funds raised will go towards helping those most in need across UK hospitality industry this winter.

Raymond Blanc OBE says: “We always look forward to the merriment of Christmas as we reflect on the past 12 months and prepare for the year ahead. Of course, the festive season is the busiest time of year for those of us who work in hospitality and we often take on added pressure to help create special memories for others. This stress can sometimes lead to difficulties and it is here Hospitality Action can lend a helping hand. I cannot wait to be reunited with Robin and Aggi and work alongside Gary and Benoit in aid of Hospitality Action and all those they support.”

The dinner will be the perfect outing for a Christmas party, ideal for networking or a special end of year treat, as well as a chance to show your support for those in the hospitality industry. Tickets for the event are selling out fast, so book now! Tickets are priced at £140 per person or £1,500 for a table of 10.
