AA appoints new head of hotel services

The AA has been inspecting and rating hotels and restaurants for over 100 years. As a leading authority in the hospitality industry, the AA is widely recognised by establishments of all sizes and ratings for helping to improve their service quality, drive higher guest satisfaction, and help their businesses grow. From 4th April the AA’s expert team will be led by Andrew Oxley following his appointment as the new Head of AA Hotel Services.

Andrew has worked within the hospitality industry for 20 years gaining invaluable experience as a general manager in a range of four and five star hotels throughout the country, including Down Hall Country House Hotel, The MacDonald Bath Spa Hotel and Tylney Hall Hotel. Andrew’s proven leadership and management acumen ideally places him to engage with the industry and to develop the inspection team. He will not only continue to deliver the essential expertise that AA Hotel Services has been providing to establishments for over a century, but also innovate new and exciting products and services for the digital age.

Kirsty Lloyd-Jukes, AA Membership Services Director, said, ‘AA Hotel Services is a central part of the AA’s business offering and we are delighted that Andrew Oxley will be joining us to lead and develop the team. He has a great knowledge of the industry and we look forward to working together to set the direction for AA Hotel Services and take it to the next level.’
