BOCUSE D’OR AND COUPE DU MONDE DE LA PATISSERIE FOR THE FIRST TIME IN ITALY

The continental selections of Bocuse d'Or and Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie come for the first time to Southern Europe, more specifically in Torino (Italy). The events will start on Sunday 10th June at the Oval Lingotto with the European selection of the famous World Pastry Cup, founded in Lyon in 1989 by pastry chef Gabriel Paillasson. And the show goes on during Monday 11th and Tuesday 12th June with the European selection of the Bocuse d’Or, the most prestigious gastronomy contest, founded by Chef Paul Bocuse, father of modern French cuisine.

For the Bocuse d'Or, 20 European teams will compete to qualify for the world Finale, scheduled in Lyon (France) in January 2019 during Sirha trade show. The jury, composed of illustrious chefs, will be presided by Hungarian chef Tamás Széll - winner of the European selection of Budapest in 2016 and 4th at the last Bocuse d'Or Finale, by the Italian chef Carlo Cracco, pupil of the master Gualtiero Marchesi and President of Honor, together with Jérôme Bocuse, President of the Bocuse d'Or and son of the founder, and Enrico Crippa, President of the European Bocuse d'Or 2018.
